Solar energy and the new danish building regulations - phase 2

A. There are developed solution with crystalline solar cells in metal roofs in cooperation with Roofing.dk and Racell. Solution has been tested in Horsens in cooperation with VIA University College. B. There has been worked on an innovative solar solution as a part of optimized energy solutions. This include preparation of one solar solution for Ullerød Byen in Hillerød in relation to EU-secure project which was an Intelligent European project with the aim to remove barriers to the exploitation of solar energy ad sustainable urban development and participation in the project group under the Danish Energy Agency, on “Solar in CHP Areas”. This has led to the realization of a large 3000 m2 collector area. C. There are continued efforts aimed at large-scale renovation in Albertslund South to low energy class 2 as a minimum. Efforts continued in ongoing EUDP project targeting the homes. D. As an area where this project has got a crucial example is the ongoing collaboration with VELUX on the development of so-called “Solar prism” solutions which are prefabricated units for placement on a flat roof with all technologies built in incl. both photovoltaic and solar hot water. E. There is work to develop solar-powered ventilation solution with heat recovery to Ecolabhuset in Horsens, as well as in relation to energy Valby, Copenhagen. In this context has been developed an innovative ventilation unit ultra-low power consumption of only 5W at full operation.
