Development, production and demonstration of improved ARCON HT-SA solar collector
The objective of the project has been to achieve a 10% better price performance for ARCON's HT-SA solar collector and to demonstrate the solar collector and measure the production result.
Results
Changes in the construction and optimisation of the total solar heat production system showed a 6% rise in production from the solar collector. The price for the collector did not rise with the inflation in the project period (2004-2006). Thus the objective of a 10% better price performance is achieved. A 5000 m2 demonstration plant was established by Ulsted district heating and measurements of the production showed that the production was as expected. Thus the objectives of the project have been met.
