Building integrated photovoltaic power systems - Design and development tools for Danish conditions

The objective of the project is to collect knowledge and experiences with building integrated photovoltaic power systems internationally and provide a comprehensive analysis and supplementary research to provide a complete set of guidelines for Danish conditions.

Project description

The target audience of the project is building designers, architects, engineers as well as the emerging industri for photovoltaic applications in the building sector. The project rely on the outcomes of IEA PVPS Task 7 (Photovoltaic Power Systems in the Built Environment, www.task7.org), where part of the activities will also be carried out within the framework of the present project. Simulations will be carried out with detailed simulation programmes such as PVSYST 3.1 and the results will provide key values and design recommendations for both technical and economical issues for the Danish design conditions
