Hydrogen Vehicle based on a Danish produced PEM Fuel Cell - Part 2
The PEM fuel cell car will function as a laboratory where components and modules in the future can be upgraded with improved version. Danish industry gets in this way an opportunity to develop and test products for the future car technology.
Project description
IRD starts in collaboration with APC Denmark and ECD (NL) a pilot production of PEM fuel cell stacks this year. A fuel cell stack will be designed and constructed for the Fiat PEM fuel cell car incorporating the results obtained from previous projects under the Hydrogen Programme. The fuel cell car's power system will be converted to dynamic operation thereby improving the overall efficiency. After upgrading of the car's safety system an apply for approval of the car by the authorities will be made
