Thermal gasification of biomass. Phase 1
The purpose of this project is to measure the reactivity of char from biomass (straw) during gasification. Especially catalytic effects will be examined.
Project description
Tar reduction by partial oxidation has been investigated. This work will be continued by an investigation of the effect of mixing air and porolysis gas. Recirculation of condensate from gas cleaning systems to the gasifier will be investigated. This investigation will be conducted on the existing two-stage gasifier.
