Danish participation in IEA-SHC Task 44: (Systems using solar thermal energy in combination with heat pumps)

The main objective is to enable the Danish participation in a newly started project within the framework of the IEA-SHC programme (solar heating and cooling). The title of the new task is Task 44: Systems using solar thermal energy in combination with heat pumps. The work within this new task is dedicated documentation of the performance combined solar/heat pump systems in theory and practice. A lot of companies sell those system types without proper documentation of annual performance, so today it is very difficult to compare the different products in a transparent way. The results can be used by system developers and customers when they select system layout and control strategies
