Energy efficient prefabricated facade and roof element
The project Energy efficient prefab. facade- and roof element has as purpose to design, develop and demonstrate an cost effective building element with integrated photovoltaic through the use of pre. fabrication. The product will on a cost-effective way be a self producing BIPV (Building Integrated PhotoVoltaic) element builders can use in their construction. HS Hansen already has a well designed prefab. facade and roof program which are made 100% in factory where there is a controlled environment. This removes the uncertainty and risk making the facade elements on the building site. It is the plan to develop a photovoltaic building component into this program. The project expects to produce prototypes of 3-5. pre. fab. components and establish 2-4 demonstration projects with a total photovoltaic capacity totaling 100 kWp. The project can be seen as a natural extension of the tildes R & D & D projects have been executed with photovoltaics in Denmark
