AC-Sun - solar powered air-condition plant
AC-Sun's thermal air conditioning solution driven by solar panels will save 90% of the electricity consumption compared to conventional air condition
AC-Sun's mission is to develop and commercialize a thermal air conditioning solution driven by solar panels. The solar powered AC-Sun solution will save 90% of the electricity consumption compared to conventional AC systems. The solution is a revolutionary novelty in the field of air conditioning which is expected to gain a significant market share due to its cost effectiveness, the use of water as a cooling medium and its positive impact on the environment thanks to the reduced CO2-emissions.
This final prototype will be manufactured and used in 4-6 test units placed for field test around in Denmark and qualified Institutes/Universities in foreign countries. The different test stations will get the test units in 2010 for field test in the summer 2010/2011. The project is managed by AC-Sun ApS and uses the collected data from the test stations placed on different key-points on the test units. The collected data will be used to the final and optimal end design, which, together with a PC-program for optimal arrangement and mounting specifications of the AC-Sun unit, makes the product ready for use to the customers.
