Solar and heat driven adsorption heat pumps
The objective of the project is to promote the use of district heating driven adsorption heat pumps in Denmark. The goal is to ensure that the benefits of adsorption heat pumps, solar energy and ground storage is considered, when the future building and building areas are designed.
The objective of the project is to promote the use of district heating driven adsorption heat pumps in Denmark. The introduction of the technology is promising as it potentially could reduce the heat and cooling consumption in buildings significantly and at the same time match perfect with the Danish heat supply structure. The project build upon the results form the previous phase 1 and will be carried out as an integrated part of the two pioneering projects of respectively the town hall of Viborg and Green Lighthouse of Copenhagen University. The project will ensure a targeted and extraordinary effort in relation to optimisation, monitoring and dissemination of results aiming at guaranteeing the optimal implementation of the two projects. Furthermore the project will focus on exchange of the knowledge and dissemination, in order to ensure that the benefits of adsorption heat pumps, solar energy and ground storage is considered, when the future building and building areas are designed
