Solar Energy + Architecture
The main goal was to improve solar architecture as well as better qualified architects and better communication and interaction between architects, engineers, manufacturers and clients.
The purpose of the project was to ''make architectural design a driving force for the use of solar energy''. The work is done in an international cooperation within the IEA SHC Programme.
The main goal was to improve solar architecture as well as better qualified architects and better communication and interaction between architects, engineers, manufacturers and clients. Criteria for architectural integration of solar energy products and systems will be carried out. Methods, tools and guidelines needed to quantify the solar energy contribution at an early design stages will be developed.
The Danish Energy Authorities has initiated this new IEA Task based on previous developed Danish book and guidelines on ''Solceller+Arkitektur and Solvarrne+Arkitektur''.
