Solar City Copenhagen, phase 2
The purpose of the project has been to make a book on the best examples of low-energy buildings in Denmark. The book was completed in autumn 2011 with Solar City Copenhagen as publisher and the Danish Architectural Press as distributor. The title of the book is: Energi + Arkitektur.
The purpose of Solar City Copenhagen second phase is to realize a series of low energy buildings in the urban area Valby in Copenhagen. The support supplement financial resources form Eu obtained for 5 year period (2007-2011). The support shall mainly support PV installations, information and a publication on energy efficient buildings
The book includes descriptions of 69 buildings in the categoreis: Busienss, estates, single-family homes, education, institutions for children, institutions for adults, and buildings for sports. Both new constructions and renovated buildings are represented. The book has been prepared be the architects: Rie Øhlenschlæger, Hanne Leherskov and Karin Kappel (Architect Group). The linguistic editing has been done by architect Birgitte Kleis. Peter Vejsig Pedersen, Cenergia, and Jakob Klint have served on the editorial group. Quality check by Torben Dahl, The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Schools og Architecture, Design and Conservation and Torben Esbensen, Esbensen Consulting Engineers. The book was completed in autumn 2011 with Solar City Copenhagen as publishers and the Danish Architectural Press as distributor. The title of the book is: Energi + Arkitektur, 168 p.
