DK superconducting tape technology 2001-2003

The goals for Energy policy in Energi-21 will be promoted, including energy savings, reduced environmental impact, and the creation of a more efficient energy network. The HTS technology has particular løng-term interest for energy transfer between regions and countries, e.g. for the smoothing of renewable and distributed energy production. This project intentionally focuses on the core technologies that have not yet been developed and that will allow the project partners to own and control the technology, and thereby enable the earliest possible introduction and the broadest possible application.
