Programme for energy efficient schools, phase 3

Afdelingen for Energi og Indeklima

The main purpose of phase 3 was to prepare and present the results from the two first phases in a form that can be directly used by the consultant's in the future school-building activities.

Project description

This project makes the third and last phase in the ongoing 'Programme for energy efficient schools'. The main purpose of phase 3 is to prepare and present the results from the two first phases in a form that can be directly used by the consultant's in the future school-building activities. There will still be a participation in IEA Annex 36 where the aim is to provide internationally co-ordinated tools for energy efficient retrofit of educational buildings. Co-operation with Copenhagen municipality is established with the purpose of following and collecting experiences from the planning of a new school. In collaboration with the consultants the project will be analysed and the results from the first two phases will be incorporated mainly concerning lighting and ventilation conditions. Experiences from phases 1 and 2, from international co-operation and planning of the new school will be gathered in a guideline taht could be the foundation for the planning of new energy efficient schools that offer optimal physical frameworks for new teaching methods
