New method for concrete coating of marine linepipe

A new method has been developed for concrete coating of marine linepipe. The process is based upon a slipforming technique, which allows vibration of the concrete. Through comprehensive testing of the method on a fullscala plant erected in Esbjerg, it has been established that the VibrodENS method leads to considerable savings in consumption of materials and an improvement of concrete quality. The pilot plants has been further developed to undertake industrial contracts and the international market for licensing is being investigated.
