Development/test of a bearing system to the heat powered air conditioner AC-Sun

The project aims to develop a stable bearing solution for the turbine in the air conditioner AC-Sun with a sealing device preventing mixing of the steam flow in the turbine and compressor circuit. The bearing solution and sealing device, which is the link between the rotating turbine shaft and the turbine house, will after developing/testing be installed in the turbine house for final field-tests.

Project description

The purpose of the project is to develop a stabile rental solution for turbines in AC-Suns solar driven clime plant. Furthermore there should be developed a sealing solution, which prevents the mix of the steam flow in the turbine region and in the compress region
