Design and construction of magnetic gear

This project has developed a userfriendly design programme and builded testmodels of two different solenoid gear - a simple one analogous to a classic gear with two toothed wheels and the second one based on cycle principle.
Results

This project - that's include a Ph.d. study - has gained new innovative knowledge and developed a calculation software tool for new solenoid gear topologies. A userfriendly design programme has been developed and builded testmodels of two different solenoid gear - a simple one analogous to a classic gear with two toothed wheels and the second one based on cycle principle. Furthermore a new analytical calculation method has been developed for paralelle magnitised solenoid shells for 2D and 3D finite elements models and analysis' of different solenoid gears.

Founded on this project's new knowledge Danish research about solenoid gears has been acknowledged internationally and created a professional foundation for building Danish production of promissing technology with a huge application potential.
