ESCO in earnest - innovative and attractive energy services for realising electricity savings in private households - Phase 1
Through a market survey and by testing two different concepts for energy renovation of detached houses, this project has sought to clarify whether use of the traditional ESCO concept could be a lever to realising the great technical and financial potential in energy renovation. Neither of the two concepts could demonstrate the same response at the end user as in the towns of Middelfart and Høje Taatrup, where a local climate association and the municipality itself were used as catalysts for energy renovation. The survey showed that there is a great need for neutral specialist energy guidance for home owners. (Energy 11)
