This project has tested a newly developed function model of a new type of refrigerant pump from Grundfos in combination with three of the newest evaporators from leading suppliers. During the project, these components were tested on a test setup at the Danish Technological Institute, and regular improvements in the construction of the equipment were made on the bais of discussions with the project group. Measurements on the final configuration showed that savings in electricity consumption of between 13% and 19% are possible by indtroducing pump circulation of the refrigerant and optimising the wet return line. The results have encouraged Grundfos to develop the refrigerant pump further. (Energy 11)
