To increase the interest for individual office lighting, the project developed a prototype of a more energy-efficient office lamp meeting the DS 700 requirements for illuminance. Both readings and simulations showed that the developed lamp can reduce total lighting electricity consumption by approx. 25%. However, further development is required to make the lamp smaller and more elegant. That could be achieved by designing the lamp with LED light sources, which would also allow for light intensity and colour temperature variation according to individual needs.
