Status for efficiency on pumps including regulation

During field studies at existing pump system in residential properties has shown that you can save 20-50 % of electricity consumption for pump operation by sizing the pumps more precisely following the actual heat requirement.
Results
During the project, the Danish Technological Institute (TI) has established a pump test stand for the independent tests of smaller pumps. The stand, which is part of TI's Centre for rotating electric appliances will also be an important tool for the sampling of approved Energy Efficient Pumps. During field studies at existing pump system in residential properties has shown that you can save 20-50 % of electricity consumption for pump operation by sizing the pumps more precisely following the actual heat requirement. These results are disseminated in an instruction pamphlet for practical decision-makers when replacing pumps
