Energy efficient lighting in public spaces

The project will develop both an energy-efficient and glare-free LED luminaire (Part A) to be designed for a centrally located paths in Viborg municipality. Direction-oriented lighting concepts will prevent glare and save 30-50 % energy. Part B of the project is the development of a glare-free LED luminaire for indoor lighting at Slagelse Hospital.
This project has developed an energy-efficient and glare-free LED luminaire to be designed for centrally located paths in cities. The luminaire is designed for variable light scattering, with directional lighting concepts will prevent glare and save 30-50 % energy. Second part of the project has developed an energy-efficient and glare-free LED luminaire for Slagelse Sygehus. And has given energy savings, better light quality and enhanced the working environment for the staff.
Project description
The project will develop an energy-efficient and glare-free LED luminaire to be designed for a centrally located paths in Viborg municipality. The luminaire is designed for variable light scattering, with directional lighting concepts will prevent glare and save 30-50 % energy. Produced 11-12 bollards to the system of footpaths.

For part A designer Christian Flindt and lysproducenten Louis Poulsen A / S selected as winners of ELFORSK Award 2014.

As a second part (Part B) of the project developed anti-glare lighting fixtures to Slagelse Hospital, which is in the tender competition.
