THINC - Thin-film solar cell based on nanocrystalline silicon and structured backside reflectors
Photovoltaic technology has a huge potential in a renewable energy system. Today, however, solar cells are expensive and not very efficient. THINC seeks to develop a new type of solar cells, using cheaper materials, processed at nano-scale, that also are able to absorb more sunlight and make it into electrical energy
