Stable energy supply for satellites
With the key performance criteria for the project in mind (dynamics and energy efficiency) the requirement specification for the 2nd generation Solar Array Simulator has been finalised.
Project description
The project aims at developing new and less expensive technology that can optimise ground-based photovoltaic solar panel simulators used for testing power produciing photovoltaic solar modules for satellites before these are launched. Complex conditions are recreated in the simulators to verify the functionality of the photovoltaic solar modules in realistic conditions. (Energy 11)
