The project increased insight into gasification plants based on the Open Core principle. Tests were made on the Castor unit at Græsted Fjernvarme. The overall activities included: - rebuilding and testing the system for operation at part load - test and development of system start/stop procedures - operational measuring at the rebuilt CHP unit - development of a static computer model The project showed that the system can be regulated downwards to 40% of maximum output. The measuring programme showed that reasonable gas with a fairly stable composition can be produced.
