PV-optitag 1 - 1. phase. Apartment house in Amager as CO_2 neutral building

An integrated PV cell–solar heating roof solution called PV Optitag was developed in close cooperation between architects and engineers to make new CO2 neutral solutions for urban development projects.

Results

A CO2 neutral rooftop apartment with PV cells in a solar-energy roof exploits an air-based PVT PV-cell solution in combination with a heat pump as well as PV cells integrated into windows. The idea behind the apartment is a zero-energy solution in new buildings or an urban development component, and the apartment has been exhibited in Orestaden, see www.soltag.net. The project gained practical experience in fluid-covered PV cells in combination with heat pumps in housing
