Building integrated photo voltaic - solar power panels in standard house manufacturing

The purpose of this project is to disseminate information and knowledge about the use of solar cells in houses. In the project BIPV solutions has been developed, installed and tested in four new houses. Furthermore the user can get information and knowledge about economics, financing options and possible electricity consumption.
Project description

The purpose of this project is to disseminate information and knowledge about the use of solar cells in houses. In the project BIPV solutions has been developed, installed and tested in four new houses. Furthermore the user can get information and knowledge about economics, financing options and possible electricity consumption in respect to Bipv.

Results
The project has developed various integrated photovoltaic solutions, which are successfully demonstrated in four demonstration projects. In addition, professional information material has been developed that effectively communicates the project results through a film and brochures. Furthermoere, a market analysis of the end-user's needs and kowledge of bipv has been developed and presented on conferences. Finally, a calculation and financial model for the investment in building integrated photovoltaics have been developed and disseminated on conferences and workshops. (Energy 11)
