Biofuel characteristics 2004. Development of methodology

In Europe, a number of standards for characterising biofuels are under development. The standards are to promote trade in biofuels on equal terms. The long-term objective of this project is to maintain the Danish scientific platform to be able to suggest methods that should form the basis of standards for measuring biofuels. Work involved developing new methods and techniques for characterising biomass. The project resulted in seven guidelines and a technical report.
