The compiled measuring results and modelling tests produced a scientifically founded basis for providing recommendations for future offshore wind farms in respect of mutual distances between farms and improved basis for determining mutual distances within the individual farm. Generally, the tested models proved too optimistic in terms of how fast the free wind is recreated after flowing through the farm. This is likely to result in greater distance between two farms than expected.
