The project aimed at developing additives that will minimise corrosion during biomass combustion. To determine the impact of additives on SCR catalysts, the project tested potential additives in the laboratory and in a pilot facility. The project results enhanced knowledge on SCR catalyst deactivation with K, P and Ca. In general, the knowledge can be used to understand and predict catalyst deactivation in biomass and waste combustion.
