Results
MEAs constitute the costliest key component and are also crucial to performance and lifetime of the total system. The project focused on developing basic materials and technologies for MEA improvement. One outcome of the project is the manufacture of high-yield MEAs with active areas of 256 cm2. Major improvements were achieved in performance and reproducibility. The project also developed various techniques for characterising developed materials and technologies.
