Customized PEC modules

The purpose of the project “Customized PEC modules” was to move from the production hand-made individual DSCs in the laboratory to the production of DSC modules in a semi-automated process. At the same time allowing sufficient variation in the product’s specification for real tailoring of the product to the application.

Results

Upscalling from single celle to masterplates with 10 cells was accomplished. Laboratory processes were converted to flexible and semi-industrial processe in collaboration with Mekoprint A/S. Field triels of developed masterplates were carried out. Developed masterplate cells had efficiencies of 1.1% ± 0.1 at 1000 W/m2.
