Results

This project was meant to develop TK Energi’s stepwise gasification concept and improve full-scale demonstration at a plant in Gjøl. The pilot system was almost completed, but due to a delay, the design and construction of the full-scale system in Gjøl had already been completed. The project would therefore not provide any new knowledge for the Gjøl project, and TK Energi wanted to stop the project stating a major budget overrun and, in their opinion, a waning market for the technology in Denmark. Long-term operation and troubleshooting components and the operating system were thus not implemented.
