The project is a core project of the Danish SOFC programme. The goal of the project was to continue developing SOFC cell and stack technology while reducing production costs, the aim being to meet the performance and finance objectives set in the SOFC road map. The main results of the project are: 1. Successful development of larger cells at areas of 500 cm2. 2. Successful development and testing of a 3 kWe stack based on new technology. 3. Planning a > 8,000-hour stack test of the new stack technology. The test will be reported in project 10049, which continues the activities of 7196.
