Solar PV-Certify, a new tool for planning and monitoring of photovoltaic cells

To develop and demonstrate a new solar energy prognosis for any location in Northern Europe for the coming 48 hours, based on the
newest DMI forecasts of direct and diffuse solar radiation. ”Solar PV Certify” is an advanced on-line tool for the analysis and monitoring of photovoltaic electricity production. Shadowing conditions are a particular focus for assessing the optimal production.

Project description

A new solar energy prognosis for any location in Northern Europe for the coming 48 hours, based on the
newest DMI forecasts of direct and diffuse solar radiation will be developed and demonstrated.

”Solar-PV Certify” is an advanced on-line tool for the analysis and monitoring of photovoltaic electricity production. Here shadowing conditions are a particular focus for assessing the optimal production. Solar-PV Certify is an open software tool that can handle solar production from any existing solar logger, if they can deliver solar data to a web-service.
