Project description
PV GRID addresses the large potential for stimulating commercial investment in PV in Denmark. The aim is to address identified barriers and assign possible solutions. An essential part of this is to realize 4MW of installed PV on industry and businesses that can demonstrate the cost-competitive PV product-services developed in the project and at the same time test the impact of large-scale PV energy in the local grid. During the three project period, the consortium will focus on dissemination of project results, training activities and capacity building for stakeholders and end-users within the area. The project will be geographically focused in Western Zealand in order to utilize the synergy to the full scale smart grid platform in Kalundborg (the Smart City Kalundborg project). The PV GRID priorities are to drive down the costs of installed commercial PV and to design a customer-oriented business proposition that combines high quality and service. Product and service offers include new BIPV and BAPV solutions as well as new service concepts customized for commercial customers.
