Integrated solar cells in commercial buildings

The aim of the project is to develop, demonstrate and commercialize new competitive building systems for commercial buildings based on the concept of combining concrete building components with thin film solar cells that contribute to energy efficiency as well as new architectural opportunities
Project description
The aim of the project is to develop, demonstrate and commercialize new competitive building systems for commercial buildings based on the concept of combining concrete elements with thin film solar cells that contribute to energy efficiency as well as new architectural possibilities. The goal of the project is an array of products that increase the availability of renewable and
energy-efficient solutions in commercial buildings and at the same time offering more attractive architectural opportunities.
The project is undertaken by 4 companies in project management, concrete, solar cells and architecture and building consultancy. The project includes a “mini house” with a combination of different types of concrete components with solar cells for testing and demonstration purposes, geared towards customers and business associates.
Through analyzes and tests prototypes of integrated building systems will be developed to be marketed to builders, planners, architects, energy consultants and others
