Low cost PV roof as a complete climate shield
The proposed EUDP project will be realised as a new initiative based on results from the ongoing EUDP project “Low cost PV roof as a complete climate shield”, with the aim to develop a “Low cost mounting system for tilted PV elements in facades and gables”.

Project description
The proposed project is utilising results from the ongoing EUDP - BIPV project “Low cost PV roof as a complete climate shield”, and will together with this be able to present holistic solutions for integration of PV in the climate shield of buildings. And also in this project a result will be access to new building components, here in the form of a low cost mounting system for tilted PVelements in facades and gables. And a full scale demonstration project in connection to urban renewal of housing will be realised in Valby demonstrating the technology in connection to a total PV installation of 48 kWp. At the same time the new developed mounting system will be marketed by help of sketch design projects made in cooperation with housing associations and other actors in the building sector.
