Participation in IEA hydrogen implementation agreement task 31 successor
The objective of the project is to participate in the IEA Hydrogen Implementation Agreement (HIA) in the task 31 successor, which is dealing with safety questions concerning hydrogen technologies and their implementation in the future infrastructures. The focus will be discussions and common work to provide open access support to risk analyses with an "ultimate toolkit" that will be freely
available on the internet after the task period. The task will be divided into sub-tasks that will analyze the different aspects of this toolkit:
1) toolkit integration on a common software platform integrating Simplified tools for probabilistic risk assessments and consequence assessments;
2) Components of probabilistic risk assessment;
3) Human Risk Systems integrating knowledge on human errors, safety barriers and their management, organizational factors, prevention, etc. on the integrity of the emerging technological solutions and infrastructures;
4) Consequence assessment to better understand various physical effects of hazards;
5) Fires and their risk assessment, and
6) Materials compatibility in relation to hydrogen. The Danish main contribution will be topic 3) Human Risk Systems where DTU is considered as the potential sub-task leader.
The results will be public available and presented on national and international workshops and conferences.
