IEA Hydrogen Implementing Agreement Power to Gas Task 2015-17

The aim of the project is to participate in IEA Hydrogen Implementing Agreement (HIA) task on Power to Gas in order to stimulate Power to Gas R&D activities in Denmark and to co-ordinate Danish and international scientific work on Power to Gas.
Project description

The purpose of participating in the IEA Hydrogen Implementing Agreement work group is to ensure coordination of the national R&D efforts in the Power to gas area (P2G) with the international R&D efforts. Also via participation in selected work groups to gain knowhow and access to networks in the P2G area that are relevant to the Danish development.

The work group is expected to cover the following elements:

1. Data collection: P2G analyses. Accumulation of experience data from P2G demo projects. Large-scale energy storage. Analyses of the long-term development of the P2G market. Technical and financial data for the individual components in P2G systems based on feedback from demo projects and up-to-date expectations to future development.

2. Establishing a global overview of P2G demo projects.

3. Assessment of maturity of hydrogen and fuel cell technologies regarding P2G applications.
