Project description
This project meets an important need to change the way social consequences for local com-munities are elucidated and referred to in the dialogue concerning RE-projects – a need that researchers and practitioners have pointed out as pivotal to increase the acceptance in local communities. Public acceptance is viewed as an important element in the transition to a RE-based electrical system, and this project seeks to show the way towards greater public ac-ceptance and eased implementation of RE-technology. With a point of departure in the most important societal forum for dialogue concerning development of RE-projects, the EIA pro-cess, the project develops and tests international experiences in specific Danish RE-projects, in collaboration with a number of pivotal actors in the RE-industry and EIA consultancies.
