Participation in IEA Bioenergy Task 39 and 42 2016-2018
The project is a continuation of the Danish participation in IEA Bioenergy Task 39 "Commercialization of 1st and 2nd-Generation Liquid Biofuels from Biomass" and Task 42 "Biorefineries: Co-production of fuels Chemicals, Power and Materials from Biomass" for the period 2016-2018.
Both are international networks working on supporting and promoting research, development and demonstration of processes for sustanible production of advanced biofuels. The aim is through data collection, analysis and dissemination to assist development and demonstration of technologies/concepts for production of biofuels, chemicals and materials in biorefineries. The project constitutes a platform to showcase Danish innovation in the area and endure contact between Danish and foreign stakeholders. Knowledge dissemination and creating contact between stakeholders (universities, companies and authorities) are the two main objectives of Task 39 and 42. Dissemination involves collecting information from, analyses and repporting on status, potential new tecnologies, initiatives on development, demonstration and commercialization in the member cuntries. Participation in Rask 39-42 supports the Danish aims and efforts on bringing these biorefinery technologies for advance biofuels production to the market.
