Solar CHP & Cooling for commercial buildnings and local distribution

Solar Combined Heat Power "Solar CHP" systems shall be fully intergrated in large Commercial buildings as an energy efficient and economically attractive replacement for fossil fuels. The project shall research, develop and demonstrate the Solar CHP system using PVT elements as an optimal cost- and energy efficient solution for large commercial buildings that request new electricity, heating and cooling capacity for Peak or partial Autonomous Supply.

Project description

Commercial buildings oftem demand new substantial extra capacity of electricity, heating and cooling from the large scale central Power Plants. This extra capicity demand is extremerly cotly due to digging and road works in urban areas for extra pips for district heating/cooling and extra extension of Peak load capicity at the Central Power plant.

Solar CHP solution shall be applicable for both cold and warm georaphic regions. The PVT elements will be designed to enable absorbing cooling via night sky radiation. This cooling gives the potantial of radical cost savings on ventilation and Air Conditioning systems.

The very comination of both PVT, TABS, cooling via night sky radiation, architectual building integration provides a cost saving CHP and Coling System. Especially for commercial buildings with large facade and roof areas, the adaption of Solar CHP could convert these into a profitable District cooling source enabling cooling of other buildings in the area.Optimal solution will be devloped by combining heat pumps and electricity-, heat-, cooling storage systems.

Arcitecture, design and aesthetics will be developed and applied on all of the Solar CHP system components and visualized for typical industrial-, storage-,office-, shopping center and hotel buildings.
