Follow up on large scale storages in Denmark, Gram.
In 2014 to 2015 two new large heat storages have been implemented in Denmark in Vojens and Gram. The two storages have similar design. Before that, tree large storages were implemented in Brædstrup, Marstal and Dronninglund from 2011 to 2013. Monitoring results from these tree storages are analyzed in the project "Opfølgningsprogram for store varmelagre i Danmark (EUDP 14-1, j.nr. 64015-0121) lasting until 30.06.2018.
Since the design of the pit heat storages Vojens and Gram differs from the design of the pit heat storages in Marstal and Dronninglund it is important to establish similar monitoring and analysis for at least one of those storages. The performance of the pit heat storage in Gram will therefore in this project be monitoret in similar way as the performance of the storages in "Opfølgningsprogram for store varmelagre". Especially for Gram will be monitoring of the performance of a new an cheaper lid construction.
SDH (Solar Destrict Heating) Conference will be arragend in Denmark in 2016. This will be an excellent possibility to promote Danish solar and storage solutions. Therefore support to SDH conference is included in the dissemination part of this project. 150 stakeholders from more than 20 countries are expected to participate. The intension is to arrange the conference in Billund and use Gram as main stop at the Technical Tour.
