SUS - Smart Urban Service Green Lab Platform
The SUS platform will be established as a part of DOLL – Green Lab for Lighting and Photonics, which has enjoyed an overwhelming interest from global media as well as the lighting industry and suppliers of management and communication systems to the urban sectors.
The SUS platform will build on the existing test lab infrastructure encompassing 300 intelligent masts and luminaires in the streets and outdoor urban space of Hersted and add installations, demonstrating and enabling development of sensor networks and communication systems.
Furthermore the SUS platform will address Smart City management systems by increasing the capacity of data analytics and processing (server, cloud, hubs) as well as userface and front end solutions in the control room and visitor center.
The DOLL/SUS platform will enable manufactures to test, demonstrate and develop new solutions, addressing the needs of the emerging smart and connected city. The combined DOLL-SUS Lab and platform will enable acceleration of the Green transition in society in general, municipalities in particular.
