Danish representation 2016-2018 in IEA Bio Task 33 – Gasification of Biomass and Waste
IEA Bioenergy Task 33 works to monitor, review and exchange information on research, development and demonstration in thermal gasification of biomass and to promote cooperation between the participating countries to break down technological barriers in order to promote the implementation of thermal gasification of biomass.
Project purpose:
The project aims to increase Denmark´s access to knowledge about thermal gasification of biomass for energy purposes from other IEA countries. The purpose shall be achieved through participation in order to promote the implementation of thermal gasification of biomass.
The main activities consist of:
- Participation in two annual business meetings and group workshops or conferences
- Preparation for business meetings and workshops/conferences
- Reporting from business meetings and workshops via newsletters to Danish networks
- Development material to the group about Danish gasification activities and plants
- Participate in (activity contribute to) the group´s current activites
- Host one business meeting and workshop in Denmark
The aim is to cover five business meetings/workshops in Task 33 during this triennium
