2. To engage and integrate Danish industry in international initiatives
3. To identify uncertainty related to the development of Ocean Enegry
a. Reduce risk in technology development from international exchange of information
b. Improve understanding of the international development and state of the art
d. Monitor the development of LCOE of Ocean Energy
Project description
The IEA Technology Collaboration Program for Ocean Energy Systems (OES) entered in 2017 its
fourth 5-year mandate. Denmark, Portugal and the UK was the founding members of this initiative
in 2001.
This project involves assistance from the Danish Alternate Kim Nielsen, Ramboll to EUDP relating
to Denmark's membership of the IEA-OES in 2018.
Like the previous years the project involves also in 2018 participation, preparation and presentation
of Danish interests in the two annual meetings of the EXCO.
ExCo Meeting 34: Thursday, 14th and Friday, 15th June 2018, in Cherbourg, France.
ExCo Meeting 35: not yet determined probably UK in addition
Further the project includes dissemination activity, in connection with Ocean Energy, participation
in the creation of new activities and tasks. Dissemination of Danish wave energy activities at
selected conferences and synthesis to OES annual report.
