iGLEEB - Intelligent building installations and decentralised integrated energy systems

Energi og Klima
iGLEEB contributes to the development, test, demonstration, and capacity building within intelligent building installations and decentralised integrated energy systems. Focus is on technologies for energy flexibility and energy efficiency. iGLEEB meets the needs of SME’s companies for facilities with connected technological services, and close cooperation with development environments.
Project description

A significant part of Danish small and medium-sized companies, producers and service providers in the installation area, need both the competences and test and development facilities that can be crucial to their competitiveness. Considering Danish exports, it is particularly important that manufacturers of building installations and of technologies related to integrated energy systems take advantage of the possibilities connected to the digital development.

The expansion of the existing Green Lab - GLEEB (Green Lab for Energy Efficient buildings) with iGLEEB will contribute to idea and technology development, testing, documentation and demonstration of competitive intelligent technologies and energy-efficient, and energy-flexible building-integrated solutions for the national and international green transformation.

iGLEEB will operate on three combined levels:

“Component, system and control” - New Smart HVAC laboratory, and Develop center for Integrated energy systems.

“System, operation and use” - Upgrating of the system laboratories / Living labs: EFH (EnergyFlexHouse) and EFO (EnergyFlexOffice)

“Building” - Mobile lab for developing, demonstrating and documenting in the building stock.

Further iGLEEB will function as a hands-on training center for manufacturers, installers, service companies and operators primarily in relation to intelligent HVAC and Big Data opportunities, building the needed competences for SME’s.
