Digital Energy Lab
Thr project will develop a labortory with a digital infrastructur as an advanced extension of the PowerLabDK facilities.
The main activities of Digital Energy Lab will be:
- Energy data management - an open access real-time (1 sec.) data exchange platform with connection to world-leading physical labs for efficient digital real-life experiments
- Energy system simulation - real-time tools for simulated energy systems for test of products and services with hardware-in-loop
- Data analytics - high performance computing cluster for used-developed methods including artificial intelligence methods and tools
A close integration of the three main activities will ensure a unique system with seamless user experience.
The users will be energy technology industry, established and new digital players, energy companies, researchers, students and start-ups.
Digital Energy Lab will provide services as: Data management in real-time, Private data workspace, Access to open data, advanced data analytics, cyber security, GDPR and consultancy.
The target of Digital Energy Lab will be to provide a number of novel possibilities, which will accelerate the development of new digital and data-driven solutions and contribute substantially to the development of smart energy systems and will support Denmark as a leading nation in the market.
