Forprojekt vedr. GASIFICATION BIOCOMBINE

The project GASIFICATION BIOCOMBINE is a pre-project with the purpose of determining the potential of a full scale demonstration plant, that can support the creation of a sustainable circular energy production on Samsø and help make it free of fossil fuels. The pre-project is phase 1 of a complete demonstration project that has the aim of demonstrating a full scale gasification plant, that can convert organic household waste into energy and biochar on Samsø. The pre-project will perform a techno economic analysis and develop a businesscase for the gasification plant as well as for Samsø, this way determining the feasibility of building the full scale demonstration plant. The project is carried out by the company Griffin People Aps in cooperation with Samsø commune and Samsø Energy Academy. Furthermore, the technology provider DESMI will act in an advisory capacity at this stage of the project before entering into a more central role when the project is carried out in full.
