FUSE - Frederiksberg Urban Smart Electromobility
The transition to mass market electromobility requires substantial investments in charging infrastructure and yields great impact on both the transport and the energy sector. Both sectors play a large role in Denmark targets on CO2 emission reductions.
The overall objective of the FUSE (Frederiksberg Urban Smart Electromobility) project is to accelerate the rate of investments in charging infrastructure by developing and demonstrating new innovative charging solutions across the valuechain of stakeholders and by establishing a solid deployment approach for the roll-out of a sufficient and smart charging infrastructure in urban areas.
To this aim the project will carry out three demonstrations in the complex and highly populated municipality of Frederiksberg, representing three important types of public and semi-public charging locations – at housing associations, companies and on public land. Simultaneously, the developed charging.
solutions will be proven to be futureproof by delivering three representative types of grid services (load leveling, frequency containment and CO2 based charging).Key figures
